When we began our partnership, there were already many moving parts. Lots of changes were in motion, on multiple fronts, to move the business forward. The Executive Team asked for our help in generating a holistic understanding of what was going on and identifying where the gaps were.
Our Rapid Diagnostic provided a useful mapping of change – the planned changes, the reactive changes, the accidental changes, the areas that weren’t changing at all – and the connections. The Executive Team could see what was and wasn’t getting attention across the business, so they could take a more strategic view.
We worked with the senior leadership to explore and evaluate alternative operating models. These were carefully developed in partnership to build on their unique strengths, and to design in flexibility to help the business respond to emerging opportunities.
We worked in partnership with the Executive Team over a 12 month period. We brought our Organisation Design expertise and used our facilitation skills to help the Execs to think through and work through the balances and trade-offs. They brought their in-depth expertise of the business and the industry.
We delivered much more than a Target Operating Model. We helped the Executive Team to think through the implications of their design and implementation choices, leaving much better equipped to bring it to life.
