Divyata Sohal
Divyata has had a diverse career with grounding in sport psychology, knowledge management, leadership and organisational development.
She is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and has supported elite athletes and coaches in high-performance sports, most notably at Southampton FC, London Wasps RFC and Table Tennis England. Her award-winning doctoral research helped develop systemic organisational knowledge management practice in the UK high-performance sport system through engaging transformational leadership and organisational networks.
She has since led various projects supporting organisational learning, organisation design and leadership development with the English Institute of Sport and UK Sport. Currently, Divyata teaches on the MA Leadership programme at Henley Business School and uses her expertise to support The Henley Forum member organisations to adapt and thrive in emerging contexts.
Divyata sees the world in connections and actively connects people and ideas to consider the bigger picture. She is originally from her India – she uses her psychology training along with her diverse cultural heritage to adopt an insider-outsider perspective to build trust and challenge inherent patterns in different contexts. Divyata describes herself as ‘hungry for knowledge’, spending her spare time reading and learning about a range of topics.
